HenrietteNoMail Matthijssen (309) | Sunday September 11, 2011, 11:25 am Yes Sophia, Elvis sure is singing in that photo & for good reason! I hope people keep moving forward to protecting animal rights as much as human ones. Animals are no different in every way, they are living beings with all the same! Animals like humans are sentient beings. Animals breath, bleed, feel pain, hunger, thirst, cold, heat, well I guess anything a human feels they as well do too! So should they be respected & protected as we humans are! I say yes because they are in every way like humans, a sentient being! Look into an animal eyes & you will see reflection of their souls. They have language of their own, they communicate amongst each other, many understand our human language. Many are life savers, can depict deceases on humans. There are many throughout history that were heroes & earned medals of bravery, rescues, saved lives from fires & the list is endless. So YES Animals should have the same rights as we humans have. Only do to all other beings, what you are prepared to experience yourself. Animals are Gods gift to the world & should be treasured as such. Humans have much to learn by observing how animals interact, in fact animals are more lovable then most humans. Countless books & Poems have been written on just how animals behave, act, accept, love, share, play always glad to see you come home. None have ever got drunk, smoked, cursed, swear, call you names, held a grudge, been jealous, belittled anyone, hated & anything we humans can think of doing, animals will love us to their dying breath! Yes animals should have rights by all means! Your report has been submitted to Customer Service. Thank you. There was a problem submitting your report. Please try again later. ? |

Bruce V. (4) | Sunday September 11, 2011, 1:41 pm It's the inflated prices dogs are bringing the heart of the problem, though this should not be an excuse for abuse by stores or private owners. The people who could show more concern and care are being priced out of the market. Though there are adoption kennels often these are the abandoned abused dogs who need even more care and vet bills that are beyond most of us. Your report has been submitted to Customer Service. tracey p. (64) | Sunday September 11, 2011, 4:02 pm It would be wonderful if more pet stores were involved in this. I also believe that companies which are not even connected with animals could get involved in animal rescue, by encouraging workers to adopt a rescue animal. It could make a huge difference to the homeless pet population. Your report has been submitted to Customer Service. Thank you. There was a problem submitting your report. Please try again later. ? |
